Goodbye blogging virginity!

So, I’m a little bit new to blogging – in fact, I almost feel like I’m new to writing all together! As a maths teacher and graduate, writing in full sentences doesn’t always happen that often, I am ashamed to say. However, after booking flights to spend this summer abroad, and since then spending almost every waking hour trawling wonderful travel blogs and websites… an idea hatched in my little brain! I could have my own travel blog!

And thus, here I am on a pleasant Wednesday evening, feeling daring to be up past 10pm on a school night! Despite having read many blogs, I am a little unsure as to where to kick things off. So I have decided on this little introductory post…

In the past year I have been so very lucky to have been able to escape on many little adventures and my first few blog posts may almost be a little bit of a backtrack, outlining these events and wonderful places. 2015 was the year that I first did some solo travelling and first arrived in Asia, in addition to seeing even more of the beautiful UK and Europe. Basically, 2015 was the year that I truly caught the travel bug and I can’t wait to share some of my wonderful adventures and beautiful photographs with you.

But, for now, it’s off to bed for me! 30 eager mathematicians await at 9 o’clock. Or at least that’s what I’d like to think…
